Space Derby!!

This is possibly one of my most proud momma moments.  We had just returned home from
our trip to Arizona and the Space Derby was that next day.  We hadn't even started on Hayes'
space ship.   So the morning of Cory told me to call hobby shops and just buy one
that is already made, because he didn't have time either.  NO ONE had one! HA!

My neighbor had a sander {is that what their called?} which i used to make the
square look round, let hayes paint it and then my neighbors helped
me put the rest together.  I was so nervous for my cute little hayesie bugs,
i didn't want his to fall apart for his first ever Derby!

It was amazing!!  Every heat his space ship was in won!
I loved watching his face light up each time his won! I loved that he took 1st place!
make a mom's heart happy.

cory said the trick was in the twisting of the rubber bands! {which he did}

2nd place- Tyson Bushman
3rd place- Mason Hayter

Called to Serve...

We headed to Mesa, Az to my darling niece Ally's mission farewell. It was a
much needed getaway since we have experienced one of the coldest
winters ever!!  don't get me wrong, i love the snow, but not when it's -11.

We were so excited to hit 89 degree weather and to see our Ally Cakes
before she heads to Stockholm Sweden!

Ally is the oldest Taylor Grandchild and the First to go on a Mission.  What
an incredible example she has set for the rest of the cousins.
She is contagious that girl, she's had my heart since she was 1!  {yep i've
known her that long} It was a beautiful farewell and she is
going to be an amazing missionary.   I think her mom said it perfectly
that Sweden needs a little "sunshine!"  Love this girl like crazy,
she is definitley missed...

Possibly the cutest farewell with the waffle bar.  We made about 500 waffles.  This girl
is one popular woman! ha!

Reunited and it feels so good!!

Our Besties from Hawaii, The Granum's moved to California!!
It had been almost 2 years since we have seen them. too long!!
The first thing on the list when moving to california was visiting Utah! yahoo!

We pretty much did everything you could possibly do in the winter in Utah.  It was a
warm week, so the sledding & skiing were still so amazing.  We spent every day with
these guys!  My kids still had school, so I let Boston miss one day and then the twins
had early out on friday then we headed to Park City for the weekend.

It was such a fabulous week.  We piled it all in.  first things first... Cafe Rio!  We pretty much ate
there daily! ha!
We hit up Lowe's xtreme air sports, Provo beach resort, our favorite Restaurants,
Flowrider {hayes' first time} Karaoke night,  girls lunch @ tortilla bar,{YUM} sledding,
tubing, snowmobiling etc... we partied.  Hoping maybe they would move back to Utah. {wink wink}
Love these guys, and love watching the boys grow up.  It's crazy how fast
time goes by.  Our kids always pick up where they left off, never a dull moment.

I loved how these boys got to have their own time with Ivy.
They all adore her and she loved all the attention.

Park City...

Gorgoza park

This was possibly the cutest thing i've ever seen.  They had little kid snowmobiles and t
hese guys LOVED this so much!!

Sledding!

I love that the twins have early out every friday!!  We have had the greatest winter with lots
of snow and plenty of ski days!  Especially Boston!  It is amazing how good
that kid is getting at skiing.
We have an awesome sledding hill down the street from my house.  Early out
was perfect to go sledding.  Since everyone else was in school.
we had the place to ourselves!!

Olivia with her friend Eliza...

17 years and counting...

I feel like the luckiest  woman alive!  17 years already? man the time does fly when
you are having fun!  I love my life so much and all that i am i owe to
my amazing husband for giving me everything i've ever wanted! So grateful to
share these years and many more with this man.

We spent the day as a family doing Crossfit and then Cory and I went out
to Happy Sumo.  It was a perfect day to celebrate!

my little valentines...

I love nothing more than spending the evening of Valentines with my little valentines!  It's super
crazy everywhere else for dinner so Cory and I usually go out to Lunch to celebrate.  It was so fun
this year, especially as they are all getting older.  Ivy got to pass out some this year to
her preschool class.  she loved that.

After the school party, we had a heart shaped pizza and they requested the chocolate fountain, with
lots of stuff to dip in.
Hayes even said "mom this is the best dinner EVER!"  while chocolate was
dripping off his chin. haha!!

Boston and Garrett both had valentines this year. they even picked out their own presents
to pass out.  such studs!

ivy goes skiing...

My little Ivy is only 4 and of course we took the day off to start skiing!  I let Boston miss too
{He's on the Honor Roll} and it was a great day! We Love Park City,
It's the best place to learn,  Ivy rode the Magic Carpet most of the time,
then i talked her into riding the chair lift, since we had Corporate passes!

She did great and surprisingly did well without the edgie wedgie that i forgot at home! oops!
so glad she had fun, and we had our own time together.

i can't wait for the day that everyone can ski together!! were so close {wink}

7th grade Basketball!

Boston had a blast playing with his buddies on the Bantum Basketball league.
Cory has enjoyed coaching them for yet another year.
We actually took 2nd in the championship game.  We had a great season and we owe
it all to our sweet "Pro Look Sports" Uniforms! ha!

once we got the uniforms from our friend Dusty, we literally won every game!
whoop whoop!

the boys are still playing in the March league and doing great!

Panama City, Florida...

My niece Witney is now the lead in the Movie "East Side Story"  and they
are filming in Panama city.  It is Ridiculously gorgeous there.  The beaches
are incredible!  It was so fun for Jill and I to go on set and watch her do her thing.

We shopped, ate yummy dinners and just enjoyed the Florida sun and beach in
January!  Can't wait for the Movie to come out in the Fall!

just pushing Witney & Chehon around in Target!

We would do our Traveling Crossfit WOD's on the Beach!

Dance Convention!

We took a girls trip to Layton for a Dance Convention where Witney, Will, Cyrus and Tiffany
were teaching Hip Hop and Jazz and of course Animation!   Each class was about 1 hr long and
they learned from the BEST!  It was so fun to see the different dances and the kids
would perform them later that afternoon in front of everyone.

Ivy was Awesome!! She held her own in animation and loved it!  She then did the cutest
dance  with will that was to the "One Direction" song and it was Adorable!!

loved watching Olivia in Hip Hop!  That girl can move like a gangsta! so cute!!

afterwards everyone got to get autographs and pictures with their SYTYCD buddies.

Ivy knew that will and Hayes are cute friends so she brought a paper from the hotel
just for Hayes and her dad to have them all write something to them.  Hayes loved
it so much!! ha!!
